Goffstown could go on National Register of Historic PlacesMain Street Goffstown may soon take its place among Colonial Williamsburg and Times Square as notable places in American history if the town decides to go ahead with plans to nominate the area for listing on the National Register of Historical Places.
Kindergarten funding up to voters once moreAlthough construction for a kindergarten in Goffstown has been approved and construction begun, several citizens at the deliberative session of School District Meeting on Feb. 6 still voiced concern over the ramifications the new kindergarten will have on the operating budget.
Destruction of meeting tapes questionedBy order of the Goffstown Board of Selectmen, all DVDs which contain taped footage of town meetings are to be destroyed after 30 days, and at least one resident is openly unhappy with the rule. |
